Semen Analysis
MACC has its own Andrology laboratory that carries out semen analysis according to World Health Organisation (WHO) standards. The laboratory is accredited by both the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee (RTAC). The semen sample is produced on site and tested for specific concentration, type of movement and the morphology (shape)of the sperm in the sample. Results are available within 24 hours or sooner if required. The facility is available to both MACC patients and non MACC patients. If you are a non MACC patient a current referral from your G.P is required.
