Assessment and Information
MACC encourages both partners to attend the initial consultation with one of our team of medical specialists and scientists. A detailed medical history will be taken and appropriate tests and investigations will be arranged. A follow-up appointment will be made once results are available, and all treatment options will be discussed. The couple is very much involved in all decisions made regarding treatment.
Following each appointment, the nurse coordinator will be available to give specific information and advice, to ensure that you have a full understanding of the procedures involved and to give you an opportunity to ask further questions or clarify any issues. MACC staff consider that you should feel comfortable in being able to make informed decisions regarding all aspects of the process. Our experienced and approachable staff are available every step of the way to support and inform you in your quest to achieve the dream of parenthood.
